first came the idea — the execution was messy, but the first planners weren’t daeos yet.
Q4 2021
the year was 2021 and the first prototype were made
they were unnamed, simple in design, but already had our signature color.
they were messy, a work in progress, but still, we managed to get them out into the world and receive feedback on what would become our grand piece.
Q1 2022
our prototype had its flaws – we won’t lie. during actual use and through feedback testing of which pages were filled out and how much, we decided to remove the weekly overviews and gave the monthly ones a proper cleanup.
Q2 2022
in q2, we focused on building a brand and crafting an identity around the new and improved planner. we created cards, designed a logo, chose our colors, and prepared our communication strategy. then it was time to start working on the cover and get ready for print.
Q3 2022
we launched our planners into the world in july 2022, and it’s been one wild ride ever since. thank you to everyone who’s been with us from the very beginning — and to those who joined us along the way. daeos planner is definitely not our only project; maybe in the future there will be stickers, an app? who knows 🙂
